We are excited to announce we have made some great strides in 2013.
In addition, the Federal Guidelines for Opioid Treatment are being updated and should be released in the Spring. Thanks to all who wrote and gave their input on these guidelines. These guidelines have not been updated since 2007.
We were contacted by Angelica Hester, a documentary filmmaker working on a film that will expose the realities of methadone and the effects it has on our society. We look forward to working with her on this project.
In January 2013, Tonya Roberts and David Currie gave a presentation to the Georgia State Medical Board concerning Methadone Treatment.
Tonya Roberts was a guest on the Prescription Addiction Radio show in Florida as well a guest on Danny Yearwood’s radio show in Toccoa, Ga.
Throughout the year, there were Meetings, Calls, Conferences and Emails by families of Stop Methadone Deaths .
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the families for their hard work, commitment and continued support.
We look forward to another productive year in 2014 as we continue to help educate and bring awareness to the forefront concerning how Dangerous and Deadly methadone is.
